Based upon the filly's natural aptitude for jumping and upper-level dressage, it was determined that Eireann has potential as a Grand Prix level prospect. Her perfect person would explore her abilities in both dressage and jumping.

Eireann's sire, KEC Double Diamond (Oisin), is recognized for his influential Irish performance bloodlines. Oisin’s sire, Glidawn Diamond, is by the great King of Diamonds out of the premier mare, Kildalton Countess, making his lineage most sought after for producing jumpers and all-around athletic sport horses for any discipline.

KEC Double Diamond competed successfully through open 4th level dressage and was about to debut at Prix St. Georges, when a pasture injury ended his performance career. Oisin was a High Modified Level Jumper. He achieved Modified Champion Jumper under both professional and amateur riders. The lack of a sponsor was the only reason he didn’t continue his jumping career! Oisin even tried his hand at eventing for fun. He won top three at Novice Level on his only time out after 5 rides with an event rider.

Eireann's dam is most exquisite Traditional Irish Draught mare, Cerulean Nightingale, C1. 

A-leg-in-each-corner, she is as solid-minded as she is built. Nightingale descends from the greatest dam-line in Irish Draught History. Her dam is the infamous 2x Hornby Premium, Roma Blue Hawk. Roma Blue Hawk produced 3 Class 1 Approved RID Stallions and numerous Class 1 ID mares. "Blue's" dam is the most highly acclaimed mare, 5x Hornby Premium Roma Blue Wind. Roma Blue Wind produced her last foal at the ripe old age of 29. Every one of her foals won Championships, all by different stallions.

Nightingale's inspection scores topped the charts for temperament when the entire jump chute, the length of the arena, collapsed as she stood motionless only a foot away! She is a tried-and-true people-lover. At 3 years old, Nightingale took 2nd flight at her first Foxhunt after only 2 weeks under saddle. After 60 days of training, she packed around an 8 year old girl on trails!

 

​​Eireann's grand sire on her dam's side is Bridon Belfrey RID. His grandsire through his dam line was another Grade A International Show Jumper, Flagmount King, RID. Bridon Belfrey, RID comes from very strong distinguished jumping lines of Laughton, Tara, Skippy, Atlantic Boy, Rusheen Hero and infamous, King of Diamonds. Belfrey’s dam, Flagmount Belle, RID, won numerous IDHS(NA) championships and earned the prestigious title of Irish Draught Champion of North America. Her flawless conformation destined all of her foals to win IDHS(NA) Champion or Reserve Champion Foal. Belfrey's grand dam is the all-time greatest producing dam of Approved RID stallion sons in Irish Draught history, Gowran Betty, RID. Gowran Betty, RID paired with one of the most notable jumping sires, King of Diamonds, made headlines with 7 Approved Registered ID stallions.​
